A safe place to be seen and heard, uncover inner strength, renew hope, heal, and grow
Heather Scoggins
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master's degree in Counseling from LeTouneau University. I'm under the supervision of Lindsey Prince LPC-S. I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, and marriage infidelity.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, carrying the heavy weight of depression, or navigating the painful shock of sexual betrayal in your marriage, please know you do not have to carry this alone.
Life can feel incredibly heavy when trust is broken, or when your own mind feels like an unsafe place to be. I work with teens, adults, and couples who are ready to heal from past trauma, reclaim their peace of mind, and rebuild a sense of safety within themselves and their relationships.
My approach is highly practical and collaborative. I help you break free from the negative thought patterns that keep you stuck, and provide you with actionable, real-world tools to actively lessen your daily anxiety. Together, we will create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can process painful experiences at your own pace, while gaining the concrete skills you need to regain control of your life.
Whether you are an individual trying to break out of a loop of anxious thoughts, or a couple facing the complex grief of betrayal, my goal is to help you move past just surviving so you can feel truly grounded, connected, and whole again.

I’ve always believed that we live, strive, and blossom through human connection. My path into counseling wasn’t a straight line—it grew out of a mix of personal experiences, curiosity, and professional growth that shaped how I understand people and how I show up in the therapy room.
At the heart of my work is a passion for helping people reconnect with their true selves in the “here and now,” make sense of where they’ve been, and feel more prepared for where they’re going. I take a holistic approach, paying attention to the mind, emotions, spirit, and the physical body, because I’ve seen how all of these parts influence our well‑being. My goal is to help ease suffering and support a more grounded, harmonious way of living.
I work with children 11+, adults, individuals, and couples. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each person’s story and perspective, and I see therapy as a collaborative space where we explore challenges, build insight, and move toward growth and purpose together.
I completed my Master’s in Family, Marriage, and Couples Counseling at Lamar University in 2024. I’m an LPC Associate practicing under the clinical supervision of Lindsey Price, LPC‑S.
